All began here…

We start in the first half of 2024 with a whole simple mission: help entrepreneurs to achieve their business goals. On average, there are 4.7 million businesses started every year, according to the Commerce Institute. As ourselves, many people might struggle at the very beginning. Then, we wonder: why not help out a bit with what we are passionate about?

Entrepreneurs have dreams, ideals, convictions, that battle with these uncertain times. So, we do, too. With this same feeling we decide to join them in the journey.

It is a simple story

After finishing her academic studies, Andrea Barrionuevo decided to create a simple way to help small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs in the digital era. Back in 2018, their journey to smoothly drive their business was getting difficult in middle of the huge digital transformation. So, it had to exist a way to do it without worrying that much on it, and Andrea knew this. After several demand and even more offer in the market, her enterpreneur soul was calling.

The main idea started with his father’s business that was in the need of some presence on the Internet. Due to his age, he wasn’t so interested into dealing with new tech platforms. This need open the gate for Andrea to run her business helping others with their social media presence in her homeland, Peru. By then, Alpakka was created as an idea, but kept as such.

Life took Andrea back to Europe in 2021, where she continued improving her skills in a luxury restaurant chain in Madrid. It wasn’t until August 2022, when she migrated to Lisbon, that the idea started to round in her head again. Once there, she decided to be an entrepreneur herself. Finally, the idea was materialized: Alpakka – Authentic Marketing was launched in 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal.
